Strange things are happening on the remote and snowbound archipelago of St. Hauda’s Land. A beautiful, but sad and tragic love story about a girl who is slowly turning to glass and how her love turns Midas' heart from one that is frozen to one that will finally experience first love. Magical and beautiful in the same vein as Alice Hoffman's books, which are my favorite.
